Hello, I am Cath Sleigh, a Registered Homeopath who lives in nearby Christow. My practices are in Bovey Tracey, Christow, and Moretonhampstead and I can also make home visits.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine that uses highly diluted substances given mainly in tablet form which stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Homeopaths treat the whole person, seeking to restore health by curing the illness at its source.
Coming to see me involves a full and thorough consultation where you are able to relate your health problem in detail, talking about yourself, your health history, likes and dislikes and more. Most people find the experience illuminating and enjoyable. My job is to find out what makes you individual and to understand how you have become ill, seeing the patterns in your pathology that I then “match” to a homeopathic medicine. Treatment also involves care and monitoring as you react to the medicine over the subsequent weeks or months.
Homeopathy is suitable for everyone, from the smallest baby upward. Because it treats the whole person it can treat anything from a simple bruise to complex, chronic illness, helping emotional and mental as well as physical health.
I have been in practice since 2005 and have experience of successfully treating many and varied conditions in all ages of people. I am always happy to speak to you if you have questions about homeopathy. I also teach introductory courses
